EDINBURGH - Westside Plaza

Project Details:

Bride Hall purchased this mixed use district shopping centre which is anchored by Iceland Food, Lidl GMB, Odeon Cinema, Gala Bingo and Shell UK Ltd.

Bride Hall completed an overhaul of asset management systems and set up, leasing vacant units and rebuilding local customer base through co-ordinated marketing and promotions.

Bride Hall secured a planning consent for a 90,000 sq.ft. extension, which included a 70,000 sq.ft. food store. This was secured following the establishment of a good working relationship with the Freeholder, Edinburgh City Council, who subsequently agreed to regear the head lease at this time.

Westside Plaza was sold to Cala Properties in 2006.

CHESTER - Grosvenor Shopping Centre

Project Details:

The Grosvenor Centre is part of a portfolio acquired with Carlyle Group, a global private equity firm.

The 24,000 sq.m single-level covered scheme is situated in Chester’s historic centre and dominates the city’s retail provision. Attracting around 200,000 shoppers weekly, the centre is home to over 80 stores including River Island, H & M, Monsoon, Topshop/Topman and Habitat.

The property also includes 4,610 sq m of office space.

Bride Hall are strategic asset managers and are actively working on enhancing the tenant mix and reconfiguration options within the centre.

LONDON - The Broadwalk Centre, Edgware

Project Details:

The Broadwalk Centre is part of a portfolio acquired with Carlyle Group, a global private equity firm.

The centre provides approximately 19,000 sq.m of retail accommodation and dominates Edgware's retail offer.

Attracting around 140,000 shoppers weekly, the centre is fully let with tenants including Sainsbury's, Marks & Spencer, WH Smith and Boots.

Bride Hall are strategic asset and development managers, working on both the existing centre and a significant mixed use extension.

EPSOM - The Ashley Centre

Project Details:

The Ashley Centre is part of a portfolio acquired with Carlyle Group, a global private equity firm.

The centre comprises 36,000 sq.m of retail accommodation and 5,000 sq.m of office space.  The centre dominates Epsom’s retail offer with an average weekly footfall of approximately 140,000.

The centre is anchored by House of Fraser, Marks and Spencer and Waitrose and other tenants include Next, H&M, New Look and Boots.

Bride Hall are strategic asset managers and are actively owrking on both achieving the best tenant mix and undertaking a refurbishment of the offices.

CHATHAM - Pentagon Centre

Project Details:

The Pentagon Centre forms part of Chatham's prime retail pitch, occupying  a 2.81 hectare site which includes the major town centre car parks.  The property comprises a purpose-built covered shopping centre with 1,105 car parking spaces and a retail area on two levels totalling 30,598 sq.m.  Major tenants include Sainsbury's, Wilkinsons, Boots and New Look.

The Pentagon Shopping Centre is owned by Irish investors and Bride Hall were appointed strategic asset managers in 2010.

In conjunction with the Local Authority, a development brief has been prepared to identify the potential for significant improvement to the retail provision in Chatham, focusing on the Pentagon Centre and the adjacent centre.

Bride Hall will be coordinating the progress of these opportunities with the relevant authorities to promote Chatham as the retail heart of this region, to the benefit of the Pentagon Centre.
